HTS (Property & Environment) Ltd provides Housing Repairs & Maintenance and Environmental Services for the tenants and residents of Harlow. We are seeking a Leading Gardener to take charge of our grounds maintenance team and ensure our sites are maintained to the highest standards. This hand-on role requires leadership, technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled and experienced gardener to take on a leadership role within a dynamic team. You will have an extensive commercial gardening experience, along with relevant chainsaw and ride-on-mower certifications and a full valid driving licence. You will also be a competent user of power hand tools and herbicides (PA1 and PA6).

PERSON SPECIFICTAION
Essential
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety
- Practical gardening experience
- Literacy and numeracy skills
- Planting and pruning techniques
- Commercial experience of rid eon mowers
- Skilled use of powered hand tools and machinery
- Knowledge of horticultural operations
- At least one of the following: Appropriate Tractor skills and certification and/or Certified to use Chainsaws and demonstrate appropriate skill and experience
- Ability and confidence to use own initiative
- Good verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work as part of a team
- Plant, equipment and vehicle when in use at work
- Valid full driving licence
Desirable
- Hold a Lantra Ride-on Mower qualification
- PA1 & PA6 herbicides
