Job Title: Mobile Multi-Skilled Technician
CBREGlobal Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integratedfacilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Technician to join the team and cover the regional patch which includes Cardiff, PortTalbot and Bristo l offices.
OurMulti-Skilled Engineers are key members of the on-site Facilities Managementteam, providing technical support to ensure our clients’ buildings are safe,compliant, and operating effectively. Utilising several tradeskills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating andcooling.
Role Summary:
As a CBRE Multi-Skilled Engineer you willutilise your advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance andcorrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment andgrounds. Working under limited supervision, monitors building system operationsand performance.
To provide operational coverage on a flexiblebasis between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 (40 hours per week)
This role forms part of the local support modelto enhance and improve the overall customer experience, drive consistency andquality of day-to-day services and ensure each area is operationally ready.This dedicated site specific or regional visiting role will demonstrateproactive maintenance and repair to always ensure the upkeep of the facilities.
To work collaboratively with the localdedicated engineer under the management and guidance of the RegionalEngineering Manager South.
Establishing great relationships with all andworking with the office teams to deliver a brilliant workplace. By doing so,this role will make a real contribution to ensuring the Client is a fantasticworking environment.
Facilitatethe delivery of all workplace related maintenance services within your areawhilst ensuring customer requirements are met and their needs are anticipatedat all times, to be proactive in delivery.
Scheduledweekly walk round of offices and the completion of basic planned maintenanceactivities including tap temperature checks, emergency lighting tests and otherbasic planned maintenance tasks as specified.
Pro-activeapproach to inspecting the site on a daily basis, completing first fixes andraising jobs for any further work outside the competency of the role.
Trackingall planned maintenance and reactive tasks through the helpdesk.
Ensuringall tasks are completed within the agreed service level agreements and H&Sguidelines.
Keepingall site folders including logbooks up to date.
Installposters, signage and boards as requested by Internal Communications.
Generalduties incorporating porterage, escorting contractors, site cleanliness,tidiness, and proactive approach to facilities service provision.
A flexibleapproach to supporting the Workplace services team in accordance with theCompany and Client requirements that may prevail from time to time.
Engagewith the Workplace Services team to ensure consistent messaging andcommunications to sites. Any identified improvements are resolved quickly andlessons learnt adopted.
Fullresponsibility for regularly updating the Client's Workplace Servicescolleagues, face to face, on progress of tasks being carried out which havebeen reported by them and seeking their comments and feedback as and whenappropriate. Proactive ‘visual maintenance’ of communal floor areas, includinghubs, staircases, coffee points and copy areas, engaging with the relevantmembers of the Facilities team as appropriate
Take fullownership of all aspects of meeting room maintenance, including fabric, tooffer the best possible environment for occupant and client meetings.
Reportissues through the Helpdesk as and when they occur, ensuring that all servicerequests reported are monitored and completed satisfactorily within your areaand within the agreed SLAs.
To work ina consultative manner offering support and guidance on areas of practicalQuality, Health and Safety and Environmental.
Adhere toQuality, Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures on siteand to the Facilities Service Providers policies and procedures.

Demonstrateappreciation of working practice etiquette in prestigious office environments.
Experience Required:
Experienceworking in a Facilities Management/Maintenance Engineering role.
Experiencewith Reactive and PPM (Planned Maintenance)
ADegree/Qualification in either a Trade, Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
Mustdemonstrate a strong sense of customer focus and commitment to continuousimprovement.
