Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dental practice on a full-time basis or through job sharing arrangements. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support the dental team, and ensure the smooth running of daily operations. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients
- Manage patient records accurately using IT systems and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe clinical environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Uphold high standards of hygiene and infection control throughout all procedures
Qualifications
- recognised qualification as a Dental Nurse or equivalent, registered with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting is desirable
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Competent in using IT systems relevant to dental practice management
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring and professional approach towards patients and colleagues
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work full-time hours or participate in job sharing arrangements.

Salary from £26,436.80 per annum ( Pro Rata)
Pay: £26,436.00-£28,808.00 per year
