MAIN ACTIVITIES AND TASKS
- Carry out hands-on DIY, repairs and general maintenance across Mango Group.
- Identify faults, maintenance issues and repairs required and, where possible, fix or resolve these issues yourself.
- Undertake practical maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, decorating, basic plumbing, carpentry, furniture repairs and other general maintenance duties.
- Carry out basic electrical maintenance where appropriately skilled, competent and safe to do so, escalating specialist electrical work to qualified contractors where required.
- Co-ordinate and maintain general housekeeping, facilities and maintenance requirements.
- Identify and report Health and Safety requirements and take appropriate action to address issues.
- Monitor the Facilities Mailbox and log, manage and follow up complaints and enquiries relating to facilities and maintenance, including heating, lighting, toilets, cleaning, dishwasher maintenance, waste and recycling, bin management and other related matters.
- Co-ordinate repairs, servicing and maintenance between internal teams, external contractors and suppliers where work cannot be completed in-house, ensuring work is tracked through to resolution.
- Obtain and compare quotes from vendors, contractors and suppliers for facilities and maintenance requirements.
- Conduct regular site and property walk-throughs to identify repairs, maintenance or other work required to buildings, equipment, furniture and facilities.
- Complete the monthly Health and Safety audit report and update OPLs (Outstanding Points Lists) as required.
- Liaise with Directors and Management and complete ad hoc tasks and projects to support the wider business.
- Support the co-ordination of office relocations, refurbishments and other property-related projects as required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-managed stock room.
- Support the fulfilment and warehouse function as required, including assisting with the organisation, movement, preparation and dispatch of stock and materials, and other related operational duties.
- Co-ordinate and manage deliveries and dispatch of stock.
- Carry out delivery and collection runs to support the business, which may include local travel and occasional travel to Belfast, Dublin or other locations.
- Collect and transport clients from airports or train stations when required.
- Provide practical support to Mango Estates, including local property inspections, housekeeping, repairs, maintenance and co-ordination of contractors and suppliers.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties consistent with the role and the needs of the business.
