As a Dairy Operative (Cheese Maker), you'll play a vital role in delivering our daily production plan while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, product quality and Health & Safety.
Working as part of a supportive production team, you'll ensure manufacturing processes run efficiently, documentation is completed accurately, and our department remains audit-ready at all times.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment where attention to detail, teamwork and a commitment to quality are essential.
You'll be responsible for:

Following all company policies, procedures, Technical standards and Health & Safety requirements.

Delivering departmental KPIs, including production plan attainment, yield, waste reduction, GMP and microbiological standards.

Completing all production, quality, training and Health & Safety documentation accurately.

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and helping reduce waste across the department.

Driving Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and demonstrating "What Good Looks Like" every day.

Maintaining the department to audit-ready standards at all times.

Building positive working relationships with colleagues across production and other departments.

Working safely while producing products that consistently meet our high quality standards.
- Food Hygiene Level 2.

Basic food hygiene knowledge or experience.

Good literacy and numeracy skills.

Confident using IT and PC systems.

Understanding of HACCP principles.

A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.

A reliable team player with good communication skills.
- Previous experience within dairy or cheese manufacturing.

HACCP qualification or additional HACCP knowledge.

Experience working within a food manufacturing environment.
