About Us
CapesWildlifeRescue is a developing wildlife rescue based in Kirton in Lindsey dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick, injured and orphaned British wildlife. We are currently expanding our facilities and building a team of passionate volunteers who want to make a genuine difference to local wildlife.
As a charity that relies entirely on donations and community support, fundraising plays a vital role in allowing us to continue our work.
The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator to help lead our fundraising efforts.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys organising events, working with local businesses and coming up with creative fundraising ideas. Whether you have previous fundraising experience or simply have lots of enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate fundraising campaigns throughout the year.
- Approach local businesses for sponsorships, raffle prizes and donations.
- Organise fundraising events and community activities.
- Support online fundraising initiatives.
- Build relationships with local organisations, schools and community groups.
- Work alongside the rescue team to promote fundraising opportunities.
- Help identify grant funding opportunities where appropriate.
