We operate fully equipped workshops and service vans, allowing us to deliver both in-house and on-site repairs to a wide range of cleaning equipment.
The Role
We are looking for a multi-skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our team based in Kelso. This is a hands-on role involving the service, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of pressure washing equipment, both in our workshop and at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and maintain hot and cold pressure washers
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
- Carry out on-site repairs and routine maintenance visits
- Install new equipment and provide basic user training to customers
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
Requirements
- Experience working with pressure washers or similar machinery (plant, agricultural, or cleaning equipment) would be advantageous
- Good mechanical and basic electrical fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
Desirable (but not essential)
- Electrical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Previous field service experience
