Overview
As a Business Administration & Event Operations Apprentice you will support the smooth running and development of the company while also working at live events across the UK, helping to deliver, set up and operate interactive games, sports attractions and other event equipment. Ideal for someone looking to gain office based and hands on experience.
The role will involve a mixture of administrative and business development activities, alongside driving, event setup, customer interaction and physical work. No two days will be the same.
The successful candidate MUST be comfortable with UK-wide travel, overnight stays, weekend and evening work, driving company vehicles, heavy lifting and working long or irregular event days.
Your office-based responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with clients regarding bookings, enquiries and service requirements.
- Preparing quotes and invoices for customers.
- Providing general administrative support to the team.
- Maintaining accurate records and assisting with day-to-day business processes.
- Supporting sales lead generation through research using LinkedIn and digital tools, including AI-based platforms.
- Identifying potential customer contacts and maintaining databases of prospective and existing clients.
- Supporting email marketing campaigns and customer follow-up activities.
- Helping to develop the company's LinkedIn and Instagram presence through regular posts and engaging content.
- Researching ideas and creating content to promote the business online.
- Supporting business development and identifying potential new opportunities.
Event Operations & Event Crew
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving company vans to event locations across the UK.
- Delivering and collecting event equipment.
- Loading and unloading equipment from vehicles.
