The Stable Family Home Trust was established over four decades ago with the aim of providing a caring and therapeutic environment for adults with learning disabilities. Over the years the Trust has diversified and strengthened its offer and now supports over 50 people through our eight Supported Living Homes.

About You:
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and creative individual to take on the role of Assistant Manager at The Bradbury Centre on Southbourne Grove. In this position, you will not only provide direct support to individuals, you will also lead and inspire a team, support the development of the retail side of the service, and develop the day service programme to ensure it offers myriad opportunities to help people develop their skills, confidence and participate within their local community.
You have experience in a supervisory or senior role and are confident in developing, mentoring, and supporting a team, and understand the importance of fostering a collaborative, respectful, and supportive working environment.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop a structured timetable of activity that provides learning and development opportunities, creative opportunities and leisure activities, utilising the skills of colleagues and other local organisations that have skills that will enhance the programme with the purpose of enabling our clients to live fulfilling lives and build their own positive support networks.
- Build positive relationships with local businesses and organisations to enhance the programme offer and provide opportunities for clients to access community activities, and employment and volunteering opportunities.
- Ensure that the care and support delivered to our clients meets all required standards and is focused on person-centre support, ensuring that support plans and our case management system are kept updated.
