We are urgently recruiting experienced Residential Support Workers for a children’s home in Greenwich.
We currently have two day positions and two waking-night positions available. Please state which shift pattern you are interested in when applying. Initial training will be completed online to support a quick onboarding process.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, consistent and child-centred support
- Build positive relationships with children and young people
- Support daily routines, activities, education and independence
- Follow care plans, risk assessments and behaviour-support strategies
- Safeguard young people and report concerns appropriately
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to handovers
- Work effectively as part of the residential team
Requirements
- Previous experience supporting children or young people
- Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare or a related subject is preferred
- Good understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Calm and confident when responding to challenging situations
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to complete all required safer-recruitment checks
