What You’ll Be Doing
As a Multi Trained Operative you’ll be responsible to perform our contractual obligations for each customer, ensuring their day-to-day business needs are met in line with Service Level Agreements.
General Responsibilities
- Adhere to On Logistics company values
- Adopt a best practice culture on all aspects of Health & Safety, ensuring full compliance with policies and legislation
- Use HR Management System to request your holidays, sickness, absence, and appointments
- Ensure you are at your place of work on time and wearing the correct uniform and PPE provided
- Abide by all customer rules and standards when working on their site
- Perform an active role in support of both your own and company Continuous Improvement
- Work shift patterns and out of hours work when required
- Continuously work towards your KPIs
Role Specific Responsibilities
- Perform a range of task specific functions including, but not limited to:
- Under certification operate mechanical handling equipment, e.g., Pallet Trucks, Sack Trollies, platforms and lifts.
- Use various online courier management portals e.g FedEx, DHL and others.
- Contract Packing.
- Manual handling and lifting within EHS guidelines
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Value Added Services
- Inventory checking and control.
- Despatch and administration of finished goods to external carriers
- Manage customers queries through to resolution
- Each of the above tasks may be OnLogistics specific or customer specific. This will depend on where you are deployed within the business. Each task will require specific training and sign off before you are allowed to carry out.
