Responsibilities:
- Observe, assess and plan for each key child's individual learning goals
- Plan stimulating and engaging activities in line with childrens next steps
- Create a safe and nurturing environment
- Work in partnership with parents and outside agencies to ensure children are being fully supported
Skills & Knowledge:
- Have a sound and current understanding of the EYFS
- Exceptional communicational and interpersonal skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience working with young children in an early years setting
Qualifications
- Completion of a full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification, e.g. Level 3 Diploma for the Children & Young People’s Workforce, NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development
- Completion of Safeguarding Awareness course (desirable)
- Paediatric First Aid certificate (within date if qualified post 30th June 2016)

The position is full time working upto 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday between 7.30am-6.00pm.
We are committed to safeguarding, protecting children, young people and adults. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS and 2 satisfactory references.
