Job Summary
We are seeking a female compassionate and dedicated Live-In Care Worker to provide exceptional support and personalised care to clients in their homes. The role involves offering assistance with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence for elderly or vulnerable individuals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong caring nature, relevant experience in senior or specialised care, and the ability to work independently within a live-in setting. Responsibilities
- Provide personalised assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medication in accordance with prescribed instructions and document accordingly
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Assist with specialised care requirements including Alzheimer’s, dementia, hospice, or behavioural management needs
- Monitor health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals or family members promptly
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safety at all times
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or observations during shifts
Experience
- Assisted living experience or prior work within a nursing home or home care setting is highly desirable
- Proven experience in patient care, dementia or Alzheimer’s care, hospice support, or senior care
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic first aid procedures
- Experience in care giving roles involving behaviour management and complex needs management
- Valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties
- Childcare experience or heavy lifting capability is advantageous but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to handle demanding situations with patience, empathy, and professionalism

Pay: £450.00-£550.00 per week
