Responsibilities
- Deliver clear, engaging tutoring sessions focused on A Level Mathematics curriculum content.
- Assess students’ current understanding and tailor lessons to meet their specific needs and learning styles.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning.
- Prepare students for exams by developing practice questions, review sessions, and exam strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress and upcoming goals.
- Create a positive, motivating learning environment that encourages active participation and curiosity.
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching A Level Mathematics with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.
- Experience working with children or young learners, demonstrating patience and adaptability.
- Knowledge of special education needs (SEN) strategies to support diverse learning requirements.
- Strong organizational skills to plan lessons, track progress, and manage student records effectively.
- Ability to motivate students and foster a supportive learning atmosphere that builds confidence.
