Working closely with our Group Director of HR & Development and managers across the business, you'll help optimise our HR systems, enhance the employee experience and support the development of a modern, digitally enabled HR function.
What You'll Be Doing
Drive Continuous Improvement
· Review, improve and streamline HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
· Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and increase efficiency.
· Configure and enhance HR workflows, digital forms and approval processes.
· Support the ongoing development and optimisation of our HR systems, including PeopleHR and our Business Management System.
· Explore innovative technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve the way we work.
HR Systems & People Data
· Maintain accurate employee records while ensuring GDPR compliance.
· Produce meaningful HR reports and dashboards covering areas such as headcount, absence, turnover, recruitment and training.
· Analyse people data to identify trends, provide insights and support business decision-making.
· Support HR projects through accurate reporting and data analysis.
Support Managers
· Create practical HR guidance, digital resources and training materials that help managers confidently manage their teams.
· Develop self-service tools and resources covering onboarding, probation, performance management and absence management.
· Help improve consistency and capability across the business through accessible HR knowledge and guidance.
HR Operations & Compliance
· Monitor key HR compliance activities, including Right to Work, probation reviews, mandatory training and policy acknowledgements.
· Support policy reviews, audits and document management.
· Assist with onboarding, employee lifecycle administration and wider HR projects when required.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys combining HR knowledge with technology, systems and continuous improvement. You'll be someone who doesn't just follow processes—you actively look for ways to make them better.
Essential
· CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualified (or currently working towards).
· Previous experience in an HR role with significant exposure to HR systems.
· Strong working knowledge of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
· Excellent IT skills and confidence learning new systems.
· Experience using HRIS platforms such as PeopleHR, Access or similar.
· A genuine interest in continuous improvement, automation and process optimisation.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and produce meaningful reports.
· Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
· Confident communicating with managers and stakeholders at all levels.
Desirable
· Experience creating HR dashboards and people analytics.
· Experience producing HR guidance, training materials or e-learning content.
· Exposure to workflow automation or AI tools within an HR environment.
