Everything is about money we get it, cost of living is ridiculous but so too is the costs associated with operating lorries if you want good money you have to do the work for it that said we are not going to push you to the last minute of your driving time far from it, although we are general hauliers and will go anywhere we do try to concentrate our work to Lancashire / Merseyside / Yorkshire / Midlands etc.
We are looking for a tramper whom will usually be away 2-4 nights per week depending on the work (nights out will be on top of wage), local delivery and collections otherwise to keep you going.
We will do our best to accommodate you if you only want a few nights or want to be out all week depends on the individual candidate and what your needs are we try to be flexible especially for the right person.
We are seeking someone whom is able to think for themselves, we are not the company that is going to be on the phone every 2 mins checking up on you nor do we want to be. The ideal person will be able to manage their day to best utilise their time to get the job done on time.
No shift patterns or constant weekend work, we mostly avoid weekend work where possible but sometimes there may be a need in this job things change at a phone calls notice. Saturday / Sunday running will be compensated.
Majority is curtain side but there may be an occasional flat load and a little experience with chains straps etc to keep loads secure will be advantageous although we can help with training.
