As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating individuals of all ages in swimming skills, ensuring their safety while promoting confidence and enjoyment in the water.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging swimming lesson plans tailored to various skill levels.
- Educate students on proper swimming techniques and water safety practices.
- Conduct individual and group lessons, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to meet their needs.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and areas for improvement.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching swimming is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Knowledge of water safety regulations and emergency procedures.
- Ability to work well with individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds.
- Certification in lifeguarding or first aid is an advantage but not mandatory.
- A genuine passion for swimming and teaching others how to swim effectively.
