The People Operations Coordinator is a hands-on HR professional responsible for ensuring smooth and consistent execution of day-to-day HR operations. This role supports the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding, while also contributing to employee experience, HR compliance, and internal processes.
You will act as a key point of contact for employees and hiring managers, ensuring timely support and accurate execution of core HR functions. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a service-oriented mindset. This position reports to Managing Director
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Employee Lifecycle Support
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including offer letters, background checks, welcome communications, and exit interviews.
- Partner with hiring managers to maintain recruiting pipelines and strong candidate experience.
- Post job openings on internal and external platforms, coordinate communication and resume screening
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and ensure compliance with legal and internal documentation standards.
- Monitor and track probationary reviews, anniversaries, and key employment milestones.
Reporting & Payroll Administration
- Maintain internal HR calendar (reviews, anniversaries, policy updates).
- Prepare regular HR reports (headcount, turnover, time-off balances, compliance status)
- Support employee benefit enrollments, open enrollment, and life event changes.
- Assist with payroll processes by reviewing timesheets and submitting updates (e.g., new hires, terminations, changes)
People’s experience & engagement
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, surveys, and recognition programs
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and general HR topics.
- Help implement wellness or culture initiatives in collaboration with leadership
- Assist with employer branding activities and career page updates.
- Contribute to building a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Data & HR Compliance
- Ensure all HR activities are compliant with applicable employment laws and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and prepare HR reports (headcount, turnover, time-off balances, etc.).
- Support audits and internal reporting requirements.
Policy & Process Support
- Assist in creating, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures.
- Support HR process improvements to drive operational efficiency and consistency.
- Document workflows and maintain internal HR knowledge base content.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in HR support, coordination, or generalist roles.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, processes, and employee lifecycle.
- Proficiency in using HRIS platforms and ATS tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of labour laws and compliance
- Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, and digital communication tools.
- Exposure to employee engagement, culture
- HR certification is a plus but not required.
- HR-related certification (CIPD, SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Physical Activities:
This position will be working in an office environment, from time to time traveling to different business locations will be required.
