Sous Chef – Diplomatic / Ambassadorial Residence
Supporting the Head Chef in delivering high-quality catering within a private diplomatic residence, ensuring consistency, discretion and operational excellence across daily service and formal events.
Key responsibilities
Support the day-to-day running of the residence kitchen
Prepare and deliver meals for principals, guests and staff to a consistently high standard
Assist with menu planning in line with seasonal produce and stakeholder requirements
Maintain stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation
Ensure all food safety, hygiene and compliance standards are met
Support the delivery of formal events, receptions and functions
Supervise any temporary or support staff during events
Deputise for the Head Chef as required, maintaining continuity of service
Role profile
Strong operational chef with fine dining or private service experience
Able to work flexibly around residence and guest requirements
Comfortable operating in a discreet, high-profile environment
Capable of stepping into leadership when required
Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
