Registered Manager
Ofsted Registered Children's Residential Home
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £55,000–£60,000 per annum + Ofsted Performance Bonus
Hours: Full-Time, Monday–Friday + on-call responsibilities
Lead an established home where children come first
We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager, or an ambitious Deputy Manager ready to step up into their first Registered Manager role, to take the lead at our operational children’s residential home in Milton Keynes.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a young provider that believes outstanding care starts with strong leadership, meaningful relationships and giving children the stability, consistency and opportunities they deserve.
The home is already operational and has maintained a Good Ofsted rating, providing a strong foundation for the successful candidate to build upon and develop further.
A stable home with the opportunity to make your mark
Our three-bedroom home currently operates as a solo provision. We are intentionally taking the time to ensure the right match before welcoming another young person.
As the new Registered Manager, you will have an important role in leading the matching process and helping shape the future of the home.
The young person currently living at the home has settled exceptionally well. They are intelligent, thoughtful and full of potential, with a love of cooking, shopping and developing their independence.
Since moving into the home, there has been a significant reduction in missing episodes and behavioural incidents, reflecting the consistent, nurturing care already in place.
Maintaining this stability is a key priority, and we are committed to ensuring any future admissions are carefully considered and the right fit.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day management of the home, maintaining high standards of care while ensuring full compliance with Ofsted and the Children’s Homes Regulations.
You will be supported by an incredibly experienced Responsible Individual, providing guidance while giving you the autonomy to lead effectively and make decisions for the home.
You will lead and develop your team, promote a therapeutic and nurturing environment, and work closely with children, families and partner professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Deputy Managers – Ready for Your Next Step?

To be considered, you should already have a strong understanding of the responsibilities involved in managing a children’s home, including Ofsted inspections, Regulation 44 visits, safeguarding, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
If you have the right experience, qualifications, leadership ability and ambition to take on your first registration, we will consider supporting you through that next step.
