Padel Holdings Ltd is looking for a dynamic and experienced management accountant to take responsibility of the accounts department across a group company structure. This exciting role will be critical to success as the company enters a period of rapid growth.
The role requires the candidate to support the organisation through high-quality financial insight, operational finance management and collaborative business partnering across a wide range of teams and stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day finance operations across the group, ensuring robust controls and accurate financial records
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, delivering clear financial reporting and insights to the Board
- Monitor group cashflow, bank balances and funding requirements, producing cashflow forecasts and identifying financial risks
- Manage intercompany accounting, including loans, funding, recharges, shared costs and related-party transactions
- Oversee month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with VAT, CIS, import/export and other relevant tax regulations, liaising with external advisers where required
- Review supplier invoices, project costs and revenue streams, ensuring accurate cost allocation, budget tracking and income reconciliation
- Coordinate payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee and pension information
- Support company administration activities, including Companies House filings, shareholder records, board documentation and statutory compliance
The Person
Skills and Experience
· Experience as a Management Accountant, Finance Manager or similar.
· Experience working in a multi-company or group structure.
· Good understanding of VAT compliance, CIS compliance and domestic reverse charge VAT.
· Experience with import/export transactions, import VAT, duty and customs documentation.
· Strong reconciliation, review and problem-solving skills.
· Confident working with directors, operational teams, project managers and external advisers.

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
