Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support classroom educators in providing an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in delivering engaging lessons tailored to diverse student needs
- Support students with special educational requirements, including those with disabilities and autism
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to help students achieve their academic goals
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages positive behaviour and social interaction
- Aid in the preparation of educational materials and classroom organisation
- Monitor student progress and report observations to teachers for ongoing assessment
- Support students during activities such as lunch breaks, outings, and extracurricular programmes
- Promote effective communication between students, teachers, and parents where appropriate
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly desirable
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or autism is advantageous
- Background in special education or related fields will be considered a strong asset
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Experience tutoring or mentoring students to foster their academic growth
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and behaviour management strategies is preferred
