Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Duties
- Prepare and cook a range of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, pastries, and other hot and cold dishes
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and quality
- Monitor stock levels and notify management of any shortages or required supplies
- Serve breakfast dishes efficiently to guests, maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Experience in meal preparation, especially breakfast items, is highly desirable
- Ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior serving experience is advantageous but not essential; a friendly, professional attitude is essential for guest interactions
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
