At Northern Healthcare, we believe exceptional care starts with exceptional people. Every day is different, but every day you'll know your work has made a positive impact.
As one of our Team Leaders, you'll:
Lead and motivate a team of Mental Health Support Workers.
Be a role model, promoting compassionate, recovery-focused support.
Coach, mentor and develop colleagues to reach their full potential.
Support residents to achieve greater independence and personal goals.
Ensure medication is administered safely and accurately.
Complete supervisions, observations and competency checks.
Help coordinate staffing and day-to-day service operations.
Promote safeguarding, dignity, positive risk-taking and high-quality care.
Work closely with healthcare professionals, families and external partners.
At Northern Healthcare, we believe in promoting from within.
Whether your ambition is to become a Deputy Service Manager, Service Manager or progress into Operations or Learning & Development, we'll provide the support, training and opportunities to help you get there.
You'll benefit from:
Funded Level 3, 4 and 5 qualifications
Leadership and management development programmes
Online learning platform with hundreds of courses
Coaching and mentoring from experienced leaders
Clear career progression opportunities across the organisation
In addition to a rewarding career, you'll receive:
£14.21 per hour
Blue Light Card discounts
Free parking at most locations
Enhanced DBS paid for by Northern Healthcare
Refer a Friend Scheme – Earn up to £400 in Love2shop vouchers

We're looking for someone who leads with compassion, confidence and integrity.
You'll ideally have:
Experience leading or supervising teams within health or social care.
Experience supporting people living with mental health needs, learning disabilities or autism.
A Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to achieve it).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A passion for delivering person-centred care.
A positive attitude and the ability to inspire others.
A commitment to safeguarding and delivering high-quality support.
We know that when our colleagues feel supported, the people we support receive the very best care.
You'll join a friendly, supportive organisation where your ideas are valued, your development is encouraged and your achievements are recognised.
If you're looking for a career where you can genuinely change lives while developing your own, we'd love to hear from you.
