Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Construction Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of building and renovation projects, contributing to the realisation of high-quality structures. Responsibilities
- Assisting with site preparation, including clearing and setting up work areas
- Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment as required
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete or mortar
- Assisting with the assembly and dismantling of scaffolding and temporary structures
- Operating basic hand tools and machinery safely.
- Supporting skilled tradespeople in various tasks to ensure project timelines are met
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or manual labour roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites
- Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team
- Valid UK driving licence is mandatory
