Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Reservations Coordinator to join our dynamic hospitality team.
In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring their reservation experience is seamless, welcoming, and efficient.
Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help create memorable experiences for our guests from the moment they inquire to their final check-out. You will also be responsible for allocations for weddings and dealing with brides and grooms
The role will also include answering phone and covering our retail shop at The Emporium.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming reservations via phone, email, and online platforms with professionalism and a friendly demeanor
- Confirm reservation details, including dates, room types, special requests, and guest preferences
- Coordinate with front desk staff and housekeeping to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes
- Provide guests with accurate information about amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance their stay
- Handle guest inquiries or concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent communication skills and hospitality expertise
- Maintain organized reservation records and update booking systems accurately in real-time
- Assist with special requests or modifications to reservations to meet guest needs and expectations
Requirements
- Proven experience in reservations, hospitality, or customer service roles within a hotel or restaurant setting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests and team members
- Knowledge of reservation management systems and booking platforms preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills to address guest inquiries effectively
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in restaurant service or guest services is a plus
- A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences
