Tigerlily House is our brand-new therapeutic children's home supporting up to two children and young people aged 7–17, and we are seeking experienced Senior Residential Support Workers to join our founding team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the culture, standards and success of a new home from the very beginning. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will lead by example, support colleagues and help create an environment where children can feel safe, develop positive relationships and achieve their full potential.
Working closely with the management team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality care and support while ensuring safeguarding, compliance and therapeutic practice remain at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the home while promoting positive outcomes for children and young people.

The post holder may be required to undertake additional duties, commensurate with the level of the post, to meet the needs of the children, the home and Care2Rise.
- Lead shifts and provide guidance and support to Residential Support Workers.
- Provide high-quality care, guidance and emotional support to children and young people.
- Build positive, trusting and therapeutic relationships.
- Support children and young people to develop independence, confidence and resilience.
- Promote positive behaviour using trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches.
- Complete and review care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support plans.
- Ensure accurate daily recordings, incident reports and safeguarding documentation are completed to a high standard.
- Support children to engage with education, health services, appointments and community activities.
- Work collaboratively with families, social workers, schools and other professionals.
- Contribute to care planning, review meetings and multi-agency working.
- Support the management team in maintaining compliance with safeguarding, regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Act as a positive role model and contribute to a positive team culture within the home.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people and who can demonstrate the experience, professionalism and leadership skills required for a senior role.
- Applicants must:
- Have experience working within a residential children's home
- Have experience leading shifts and supporting staff teams
- Hold a Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
- Be aged 21 years or over
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be flexible to work shifts, weekends and sleep-ins
