We are looking for an experienced and reliable HMO Handyman to join our growing team, carrying out maintenance and repairs across our portfolio of HMO properties throughout Birmingham.
This is a varied role, so we’re looking for someone who is hands-on, takes pride in their work, and can work independently.
Essential Requirements (Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered):
- Previous HMO maintenance/handyman experience is essential.
- A UK driving licence and access to your own reliable car is essential, as you will be travelling between properties across Birmingham.
- Experience in painting and decorating.
- Experience carrying out general HMO repairs and maintenance.
- Experience with basic gardening and outdoor maintenance.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Right to work in the UK.
Duties Include:
- General repairs and maintenance within HMO properties.
- Painting and decorating rooms and communal areas.
- Basic plumbing, carpentry and minor repair work.
- Gardening, hedge trimming and keeping outdoor areas tidy.
- Replacing fixtures and fittings where required.
- Reporting any major maintenance issues.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
