Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and passionate daily and long term supply teacher to help support the varied schools we work with across West London. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting students with diverse needs, and fostering positive learning environments.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons tailored to individual student needs, including special education programmes.
- Use effective communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
- Provide tutoring and mentoring to help students achieve their academic goals and develop essential life skills.
- Incorporate creative writing activities into lesson plans to enhance literacy skills and stimulate imagination.
- Monitor student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with special education professionals to develop personalised education plans for students with specific needs.
Requirements
- Proven teaching experience in the UK with QTS
- Knowledge of special education principles and experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and parents.
- Creativity in lesson planning, particularly in creative writing and interactive teaching methods.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners and support inclusive education practices.
- Passion for mentoring and inspiring young learners to reach their full potential.
