We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property transactions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and providing exceptional service to clients. The position is suitable for experienced Conveyancing professionals who can manage and run their own case-load, reporting to the Head of Dept.
Duties
- Manage the end-to-end conveyancing process for residential and commercial property transactions.
- Prepare, review, and lodge legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documentation.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Conduct searches, enquiries, and due diligence to ensure all legal requirements are met.
- Keep clients informed on the progress of their transactions and provide professional advice where necessary.
- Ensure all documentation complies with current legislation and internal policies.
- Assist in resolving any issues or disputes that may arise during the conveyancing process.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and correspondence.
Experience
- Previous experience in conveyancing or property law is essential. You will be required to manage your own caes-files for this position
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional approach to client service.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in document preparation and review.
- Familiarity with legal software and case management systems is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
