Location: Trentham Shopping Village, The Trentham Estate, Stone Road, Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST4 8JG
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours
Saturday: 10:00am – 5:30pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
13.5 hours per week (hours negotiable)
Additional hours may occasionally be available to cover holidays and sickness.

We're now entering an exciting new chapter with the opening of our first-ever physical retail store at Trentham Shopping Village. This flagship store will bring the Kalating brand to life, giving customers the opportunity to experience our products in person and receive the same personal service that has defined our brand for over 10 years.
As one of our first retail team members, you'll play an important role in shaping the customer experience and helping establish Kalating's presence in this exciting new retail environment. You'll work closely with the founders of the brand, receiving hands-on support and contributing ideas as we continue to grow.

About the Role
We're looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant who enjoys meeting people and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
As the face of Kalating, you'll help customers discover our collections, maintain our beautiful store environment and contribute to creating an exceptional shopping experience every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers with a friendly and professional approach
- Providing excellent customer service and product advice
- Processing sales through the till system
- Replenishing stock and maintaining attractive displays
- Keeping the store clean, tidy and well presented
- Assisting with deliveries and stock checks
- Supporting seasonal merchandising and promotional displays
- Helping customers with gift purchases and personalisation enquiries
What We're Looking For
- Friendly, confident and approachable personality
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
