HOURS: Full-time/Part-time hours working 3-5 days out of 7.

Job description:
Main duties will include but are not limited to:
- The preparation of local fresh produce and cooking of various cuisines to a very high standard.
- Running a kitchen section and taking responsibility for all dishes in your section ensuring consistent presentation every time.
- Ensuring all meals are delivered on time.
- Manage food standards and quality across all stages of food preparation and production ensuring high standards are consistently met.
- Working alongside the Executive Chef and team to create and develop daily and weekly specials.
- Assist in the training and development of junior chefs.
- Ensuring minimum wastage and implementing new ideas for reducing wastage.
- Working within and maintaining all associated Health, Safety, and Hygiene guidelines/procedures while working.
- Comply with company food safety policies and legislation.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness at all times and making sure your personal appearance and uniform is in line with the required Resort standards at all times.
The Person:
Applicant must:
- Be passionate about food and have a willingness to work hard in a dynamic evolving kitchen.
- Have at least 1 year of experience working as a Chef, working within a busy kitchen environment.
- Have a keen eye for detail and great organisational skills.
- Enjoy working as part of a team, be able to multi-task, and work well under pressure.
- Hold basic Food Hygiene Qualification or above.
- Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work days/evenings and weekends.
- Must have a good, pleasant manner and be well presented.
- Have a proven track record and shown loyalty throughout their career.
