The Role
We are currently looking for a shunter driver to join our Transport team, working on a 4 on/4 off rolling rota on permanent night shifts. A current LGV licence or LGV experience would be needed to carry out the role to ensure safe and efficient working on site. The successful candidate would be working 4 x 12 hour shifts (6pm to 6am) to give full coverage to our processing site. Annual holiday allocation would be 20 x days per annum from January to December. Full training & PPE will be provided. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business.
Duties to include.
- Movement of raw materials & finished products across various areas of the AP site.
- Tipping of trailers.
- Movements of various types of trailers to assist the factory.
- Carry out pre use vehicle checks.
- Follow Site wide Health & safety rules.
- Take pride in their vehicle, keeping it clean & tidy at all times.
