We're an established and growing commercial refrigeration, HVAC and electrical business with a large service operation across Perth.

What You'll Actually Be Doing
This is a hands-on commercial Refrigeration & HVAC service role.
You'll be out in the field servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning equipment across a wide variety of commercial sites throughout Perth.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Commercial refrigeration service and breakdowns
- HVAC and air conditioning service and repairs
- Planned and preventative maintenance
- Reactive breakdown response
- Electrical and refrigeration fault finding
- Diagnosing system and control faults
- Compressor, fan motor, valve and component replacement
- Refrigerant system repairs
- Temperature and system performance issues
- Commercial cool rooms and freezer rooms
- Packaged and split air conditioning systems
- Commercial HVAC equipment
- Refrigeration plant and associated controls
- Identifying faults and recommending the correct repair
- Completing service reports and communicating with customers
- Working independently while having the backing of an experienced service and management team
We don't expect every candidate to have worked on every type of equipment.
What matters to us is that you're a proper service engineer who understands refrigeration or HVAC, can fault-find and takes pride in solving problems correctly.
The Type of Engineer We Want
We're not looking for someone who needs to be told what to do at every job.
We're looking for an experienced engineer who can arrive on site, assess the problem, work through it logically and get the customer's equipment operating properly again.

Qualifications & Experience
Ideally, you'll have:
- Recognised refrigeration, air conditioning or HVAC trade qualifications
- Strong hands-on service experience
- Commercial refrigeration and/or HVAC experience
- Good electrical fault-finding ability
- Experience attending breakdowns independently
- A full driving licence
- Good communication skills
- A professional attitude toward customers and your work
Australian licensing requirements are different from those in the UK, so we will assess the qualifications and experience of suitable candidates as part of the process.
Don't automatically rule yourself out because your qualifications are UK-based.
