Commercial Property Paralegal
Join an award-winning, forward-thinking law firm with ambitious growth plans. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Property Paralegal to join our busy and growing Commercial Property and Property Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in commercial property, conveyancing or a property-related legal support role who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment. You will work closely with experienced fee earners across a wide range of commercial property matters, gaining valuable hands-on experience in property finance, development and investment transactions.
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of redemption matters and low level loan matters for lender clients while providing support across the wider Commercial Property team.
The Role
As a Commercial Property Paralegal, you will:
- Manage your own caseload of redemption matters for lender clients.
- Assist fee earners with a broad range of commercial property and property finance transactions.
- Undertake a broad range of legal administrative tasks, including drafting correspondence and legal documents; opening, progressing and closing files; and preparing and processing completion and post-completion documentation.
- Support property development and sales matters, including plot sales.
- Submit HM Land Registry applications and Companies House filings where required.
- Monitor key dates, deadlines and outstanding actions to ensure matters progress smoothly.
- Liaise professionally with clients, lenders, solicitors, agents, HM Land Registry and other third parties.
- Maintain high standards of client care, confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
About You
We are looking for an organised and motivated individual to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis with:
- Previous experience in commercial property, residential conveyancing or a property-related legal support role.
- An understanding of property transactions, conveyancing processes and commercial property documentation.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience of case management systems.
You will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail, strong time management skills and a high level of professionalism. A law degree, Graduate Diploma in Law or a paralegal qualification is desirable, but not essential, as is experience of HM Land Registry applications, property searches and post-completion work (training will be provided).
What We Offer
- A collaborative and supportive working environment
- Clear opportunities for professional development and career progression
- The chance to be part of a growing and dynamic department
- Competitive salary and attractive staff benefits package
- A professional and friendly working culture where your contribution is valued.
