Assistant Restaurant Manager

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day running of our café and help lead our front-of-house team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the owners with daily operations
- Lead and motivate front-of-house team during service
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest queries professionally
- Assist with team training, rotas, and team development
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and food safety
- Help manage stock, ordering, and opening/closing procedures
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff alike
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality supervisory or management roles
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy environment
- Passion for food, coffee, cocktails and customer service
- Have a great eye for detail - from preparing the restaurant for opening to checking evening service set up, attention to all the little details is key.
- Multitask - it's all about balancing plates and trays as well as tasks throughout the shift.
- Be a people person - from customers to colleagues, we are looking for you to get the very best out of everyone.
- Embrace change - from being open to learning our ways to presenting solutions/ideas to drive the business forward.
