The ESPA Social Hub operates for 38 weeks each year, from Monday to Friday, based at South Hill and The Croft Centre site of ESPA College. The above position is an exciting new opportunity to take a lead role in developing and coordinating this growing provision.
Ideal Candidate
Working closely with the Social & Community Inclusion Manager and the existing Social Hub staff team, the successful candidate will help to create and oversee a weekly programme of vibrant and stimulating activities for individuals attending the service.
Duties include:
Assist with the day-to-day operation of the Social Hub, including administrative responsibilities across all sites.
Develop, coordinate, and oversee a varied programme of activities that supports individuals in achieving their aspirations and developing relevant life skills.
Create and maintain a positive, safe, and nurturing environment where individuals feel valued and supported.
Oversee the safe storage and administration of medication in accordance with ESPA policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and associated documentation are accurate, up to date, and effectively implemented.
Liaise with the Work Experience Coordinator to identify and secure suitable work experience opportunities for Social Hub members.
Support individuals to access community-based activities, develop independence, and enhance social inclusion.
Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks in line with organisational requirements.
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Social Hub service and its range of opportunities for members.
Promote safeguarding, health and safety, equality, diversity, and inclusion at all times.
