Job Summary:
We are looking for friendly, energetic, and reliable staff to support the daily operations of our brand new padel tennis centre. Training will be provided all we require is great personality and a desire to deliver the best!
Daily duties include operations, member services, bar and retail sales and general maintenance to ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Court Operations & Facilities:
- Welcome players, check bookings, ensure smooth court scheduling.
- Monitor court conditions and report any maintenance needs to management.
- Assist with basic upkeep of courts and facilities, including cleaning, setting up nets, and equipment checks.
Customer Service & Reception:
- Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Handle bookings, payments and enquiries via email, phone and in person.
- Provide information on coaching sessions, events and centre services.
Bar & Retail Support:
- Serve food and beverages in the bar, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met.
- Assist with sales and merchandising in the retail shop.
- Monitor and replenish stock levels.
Events & Promotions:
- Assist in setting up and running club events, tournaments and social sessions.
- Support marketing initiatives by distributing promotional materials and engaging with members.
Health, Safety & Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the club.
- Support minor facility maintenance tasks, such as moving equipment, cleaning, and tidying courts or club areas.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Applicants must be aged 18 or over, due to bar service.
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or sports/recreation is preferred but not essential.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of padel or racket sports is a plus.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
