Overview
As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to individuals in their own homes . Your primary responsibility will be to support clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires excellent communication skills and a caring attitude. We are currently looking for Care Professionals to be able to work in the Rothwell, Tingley and South Leeds area.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Help with meal preparation and medication reminders as per care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients in managing their care plans and daily routines effectively.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills in home care practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining care records is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English is essential for effective interaction with clients and their families.
- A valid driving licence is essential for this role to facilitate travel between client locations.
- Experience in developing or following care plans is beneficial but not mandatory.
