Multi-Skilled Builder / Estate Maintenance Operative (Live-In - Optional)

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per year, depending on experience

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and practical Multi-Skilled Builder / Estate Maintenance Operative to join us on a long-term basis at a small country estate near Warwick, Warwickshire, with holiday cottages, grounds and ongoing development projects.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
The successful applicant will become an important part of the ongoing maintenance and development of the estate, carrying out a wide range of building, repair and maintenance work to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- General building and construction work
- Bricklaying, blockwork and concreting
- Carpentry and joinery
- Patios, fencing and landscaping
- Internal refurbishment and finishing
- Painting, decorating and general repairs
- General maintenance of estate buildings and grounds
- Identifying problems and carrying out practical repairs
- Working independently and taking responsibility for completing work to a high standard
- Assisting with ongoing estate improvement and development projects
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong experience across multiple building and maintenance trades
- Is confident working independently and solving problems
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work
- Is reliable, trustworthy and organised
- Has good attention to detail
- Is comfortable working outdoors as well as indoors
- Has a full UK driving licence
- Is looking for a long-term position rather than short-term site work
A broad range of practical building skills is more important to us than formal qualifications.
