We're looking for an experienced and inspiring Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen at our Plymouth Branch.
This is one of Boston Tea Party's busiest and most exciting cafés. With a constant buzz from locals, visitors and shoppers, you'll be leading a talented kitchen team that delivers exceptional breakfasts, brunches and lunches day in, day out.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, loves developing people and is motivated by delivering outstanding food while building a kitchen culture where everyone can succeed.
What you'll be doing
As Kitchen Manager, you'll take ownership of one of our highest-profile kitchens, leading your team to deliver brilliant food and an exceptional service every day.
You'll:
- Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing kitchen team.
- Deliver consistently fresh, high-quality food in a fast-paced environment.
- Build a positive, accountable culture where people enjoy coming to work.
- Coach and develop chefs, helping them build confidence and progress their careers.
- Manage stock, ordering, labour and kitchen costs to deliver strong commercial performance.
- Champion food safety, cleanliness and operational excellence.
- Work closely with the General Manager to drive the overall success of the café.
What we're looking for
We're looking for a leader who combines great hospitality with strong commercial awareness.
You'll have:
- Experience as a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef
- A passion for developing people and creating high-performing teams.
- Confidence leading a busy, high-volume kitchen.
- Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail.
- Commercial awareness, understanding how to manage labour, stock and GP without compromising quality.
- A positive, hands-on leadership style that inspires others.
