We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Fencing Operative to join our growing team. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of fencing and gates across [Domestic/Commercial/Agricultural] sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Erect timber and metal fencing according to site plans and specifications.
- Site Preparation: Measure and lay out fence lines, dig post holes using hand tools or mechanical diggers, and clear old fencing.
- Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and carry out repairs to ensure perimeter security and stability.
- Operation: Safely use a range of hand and power tools, and occasionally heavier machinery like post drivers or mini-diggers.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience in timber fencing is required.
- Certifications: A valid CSCS Card is essential for site work.
- Physical Fitness: High level of stamina and mobility to perform demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions.
- Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required for travel between sites.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read technical drawings and take precise measurements.
