We are currently seeking an experienced Cook to join our friendly and professional team. This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to contribute to a vibrant, rehabilitation-focused environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in co-designing seasonal menus with our clients, that are nutritious, creative, and tailored to individual dietary needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing and cooking meals safely and to a high standard
- Collaborating on seasonal menu planning that reflects client preferences
- Adhering to all food hygiene and safety regulations
- Taking dietary requirements seriously and responding to client feedback
- Storing food correctly and maintaining temperature logs
- Minimising and correctly disposing of waste
- Keeping the kitchen secure and maintaining strict hygiene standards
- Completing all required paperwork and documentation
- Supporting a warm, relaxed, and respectful environment for clients
- Reporting compliments, concerns, or issues promptly
- Supporting safety and infection control procedures
- Attending regular training and participating in appraisals
What We’re Looking For
- A passion for food and a desire to contribute to client well-being
- Experience in a care, health, or hospitality setting
- Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (or happy to work towards this)
- An understanding of person-centred care values
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A flexible, positive attitude with attention to detail
