The Role of the Senior Structural Design Engineer:
They are looking to strengthen their design team with a Senior Structural Design Engineer to take on high profile and complex structural projects.
Here’s how:

Deliver high quality structural designs for steel frameworks and complex connections

Conduct manual and software-based calculations to British and Eurocode standards
-
Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients throughout project lifecycles
-
Maintain effective client relationships to support repeat business and referrals
-
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
-
Attend design meetings and contribute to technical discussions
Requirements of the Senior Structural Design Engineer:
-
Degree qualified in Structural or Civil Engineering (ideally working toward Chartered status)

Minimum 8 years’ experience in UK based structural steel design
-
Previous experience with a UK based steelwork fabricator
-
Proven experience in steelwork frame and connection design
-
Proficient in Tekla Structural Designer, Masterseries, S-Frame, IDEA StatiCa
-
Knowledge of British and European design standards
-
Confident producing both manual and software-based calculations
-
Experience in temporary works design (desirable)
