Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and reliable trainee technician to join our team. In this role, you will attend properties that have suffered water and mould damage and assist our experienced technicians in the recovery process. Your responsibilities will include installing drying equipment of varying types, taking moisture measurements, assessing damage and decontaminating affected areas to remove mould. Full training will be provided to ensure you are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. The job is varied and interesting and requires a practical hands on approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend properties that have experienced water and mould damage.
- Assist lead technicians with the recovery process.
- Install and operate drying equipment.
- Decontaminate areas to remove mould and prevent further damage using specialist equipment and processes.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Uphold the company’s standards for quality and customer service.
Requirements:
- Valid manual driving licence essential.
- Presentable appearance and professional demeanour.
- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work in various environmental conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to stay away from home occasionally when working at properties further afield.
- GCSE or above in English and maths (or equivalent)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in water damage restoration or a related field is not required.
- Basic understanding of construction related skills or cleaning techniques will be
- an advantage
- CSCS card desirable but not essential as training will be provided

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
