Comfort at Home Care Ltd are expanding and we are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their homes to enable them to live independently, we cover predominantly the Peninsula in Medway & the surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills in English and have the ability to follow care plans meticulously. A full UK driving licence and access to your own car is essential to enable you to deliver home care services. Mileage allowance is paid. All considered applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

We are CQC registered and have strict company policies on hygiene, including not allowing false nails.

Previous care experience is preferred, however full training can be provided for someone sharing our values. A care certificate is preferred but alternatively a willingness to undertake this within the first 6 months would be considered, full support can be provided in order to complete this.
What you can expect from us:

- Provide competitive rates of pay including enhanced bank holiday rates
- Consider flexible working agreements, full time or part time considered however an agreement to work evenings/weekends is essential

- Provide regular supervision & full support from registered nurses
- Pay for & provide access to all the training you will require
Domiciliary care includes the following responsibilities:
- Visiting clients in their own home to provide support for them to live independently.
- Support clients with personal care, washing, dressing, medication and meal preparation.
- Support clients with house work & cleaning.
- Support clients with daily activities such as shopping or support with outings.
- Running errands such as picking up prescriptions.
- Provide companionship & accompany clients on days out.
- Document and report any changes in clients' conditions or behaviours to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow care plans as outlined by management to ensure consistent and personalised care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
- Collaborate with other healthcare staff to provide holistic care.
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential as full training can be provided.
- Familiarity with IT systems for documentation purposes is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- A valid UK driving licence & access to your own care is essential.
