About the Role:
London is one of the world’s leading centres for technology, finance and digital innovation, and at SAL Technology Solutions Ltd, we help organisations turn complex operational requirements into practical technology solutions.
We provide business software, cloud systems and digital transformation services to growing companies across the United Kingdom. We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery.
You will work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, developers and project teams to understand existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and define clear system requirements. This is not simply a documentation role. You will influence how business systems are selected, designed, implemented and improved.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment:
Our London office provides a professional and collaborative setting where analysts, project managers and technical specialists work together. You will have direct access to decision makers and will be encouraged to contribute ideas from the beginning.
Meaningful Projects:
You will work on projects that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, reporting and business performance. Your recommendations will have a measurable impact on how clients and internal teams work.
Modern Technology:
Our projects may involve cloud platforms, customer relationship management systems, enterprise software, workflow automation, reporting tools and system integrations.
Professional Growth:
You will have opportunities to develop your knowledge of business analysis, process improvement, project delivery and emerging technologies. Relevant training and professional development support may also be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Requirements Analysis:
Meet with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges and system requirements. Translate discussions into clear and structured business and functional requirements.
Process Mapping:
Review existing workflows and document current and future state processes. Identify inefficiencies, risks, duplicated activities and opportunities for automation.
System Evaluation:
Assess existing business systems and support the evaluation of potential software solutions. Help determine whether proposed systems meet operational, technical and commercial requirements.
Documentation:
Prepare business requirement documents, user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria, system specifications and supporting project documentation.
Stakeholder Management:
Communicate with business users, project managers, developers, suppliers and senior stakeholders. Ensure that requirements are understood and that expectations remain aligned throughout delivery.
Testing and Implementation:
Support user acceptance testing, defect tracking, system implementation and post launch reviews. Confirm that delivered solutions meet the agreed business requirements.
Data and Reporting:
Analyse operational data and reporting requirements. Work with technical teams to improve data quality, reporting accuracy and management visibility.
Change Support:
Assist with system adoption by preparing user guidance, supporting training activities and helping teams adjust to new processes and technologies.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or in a similar technology focused role.
Business Analysis Skills:
Strong experience gathering requirements, mapping processes, preparing documentation and supporting technology projects from discovery through implementation.
Technical Understanding:
A practical understanding of business applications, cloud platforms, system integrations, databases, reporting tools and software development processes.
Project Experience:
Experience working with project managers, developers, quality assurance teams and business stakeholders in an Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environment.
Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills. You should be comfortable leading workshops, asking detailed questions and explaining technical information to non technical stakeholders.
Problem Solving:
A structured and analytical approach to identifying business problems, evaluating options and recommending realistic solutions.
Pay: £3,929.00-£4,342.00 per month
Work Location: In person
