We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without our deliciously dedicated Production Teams! They’re responsible for the heart and soul of our business – our snacks! - making sure they’re tasty, safe, and packaged fresh off the line to reach shops (and customers) with that satisfying CRUNCH. We’re looking for Flexi Production Operatives who can use their skills in multiple stages of the process to ensure the best in quality and flavour! You’ll work either days (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm on alternate weeks) or nights (10pm-6am) shifts at our Corby site (NN17 4AP).
Let’s get a flavour of the role:
As a Flexi Production Operative, you’ll ensure that our high standards of quality and safety are upheld by working on a variety of tasks from checking the quality and consistency of mixes, to adding the correct flavourings, to adjusting machine settings. If you’re willing to learn, have a good knowledge of production, and are mechanically minded, this might be the job for you!
- Accurate set up, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment including Optisort cleaning, removal of waste, boil outs
- Actively work to minimize waste, correct disposal of any waste produced, proper usage of oil to maximise usage
- Always maintain a safe and clean work environment, delivering ‘clean as you go’ for all areas
- Ensure quality and maximise output by adhering to the Standard Operating Procedure manuals, observing quality standards, and maintenance of equipment
- Complete accurate documentation at the key points for each process, including downtime
Key Ingredients (what we need to see from you):
- Proven experience in food production or manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of and commitment to HACCP and food safety standards, as well as quality in all you do
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with industrial equipment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with at least basic maths skills for measurements and data recording
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and willingness to hop in you’re needed
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs
