Job Title: Laborer
We are looking for a motivated Labourer to help with jobs on and around the site. Duties of the Labourer include helping move and collect materials, set up tools and help with general building work. The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, punctual, ready to help and learn. If you have any/little previous experience on building work we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Labourer will be ready to help where there is a need and able to learn new skills that will later help to expand your work.
Responsibilities:
- Moves, collects, and sets up materials
- Perform physical labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Operate hand tools and power tools as required
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of worksites
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Adhere to project timelines and meet deadlines
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in construction or general labor preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus
- Valid driver's license is a plus
