Job Overview
We are seeking qualified Motor Mechanic/Tyre Fitter to join our automotive service centre. This role involves undertaking vehicle repairs and maintenance as well as repairing and fitting tyres on all kinds of vehicles, ensuring safety and optimal performance.
Duties
- Repair and fit tyres
- Diagnose faults using specialised tools and equipment
- Carry out repairs, servicing, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment at all times
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a methodical approach to diagnostics
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills to explain repairs and findings clearly to customers
